PortaVia Management (PortaVia) is pleased to announce it has completed the acquisition of Maritime Door & Window Ltd. (MDW). From its head office in Moncton, NB, MDW has established itself as a market leader in Southeast New Brunswick in the design and manufacture of doors and windows.
The transition of ownership marks an exciting new chapter for MDW, building upon the legacy established in 1973 and guided by Mike Mann for the past 15 years. The former owner is delighted to pass the baton to a group of investors who share a deep appreciation for the company’s people, culture, and future potential.

Based in the Burnside Industrial Park in Dartmouth, NS, CTM is one of the leading providers of countertops and installation services to residential and commercial clients in the Halifax region. CTM continues the PortaVia strategy of finding opportunities that naturally fit our ecosystem of firms looking to grow in the demand-driven housing and commercial construction industries.

PortaVia Management (PortaVia) is pleased to announce it has closed on its purchase of Robar Countertops Ltd., one of Nova Scotia’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of Laminate and Solid Surface countertops to both residential and commercial customers.
This acquisition furthers PortaVia’s focus on construction support industries as it seeks to capture scale during what is widely seen as strong mid to long term demand for housing and commercial construction in Nova Scotia.

As a leader in providing audio, video, and home automation installation services to both residential and commercial clients in the Maritimes, Glubes is a natural fit to join PortaVia’s ecosystem of firms looking to grow in the demand-driven housing and commercial construction industries.
This acquisition furthers PortaVia’s focus on construction support industries as it seeks to capture scale during what is widely seen as strong mid to long term demand for housing and commercial construction in Nova Scotia. It also provides an opportunity to accelerate Glubes’ strategy of providing more automation and smart home installation services, leveraging the deep experience and product knowledge of its workforce.
